Broccoli Cheese Balls

  Ingredients 1 1/2 heaping cups fresh broccoli florets 1 cup shredded Colby cheese 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 4 ounces Velveeta, cut into small chunks 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 2 1/4 cups Panko crumbs, divided 1 egg, lightly beaten 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 eggs, lightly beaten Vegetable or Canola oil Instructions Steam broccoli until slightly softened. Let cool. Finely chop broccoli. You want the pieces to be 1/4-inch or less. Place in a large bowl. Add cheese, red pepper flakes, 1/4 cup Panko crumbs, and 1 egg to bowl with broccoli. Stir well. Use your hands to shape mixture into balls using about a rounded tablespoon for each ball. You should get 12-14. Place balls on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Place flour in a bowl. BUTTERPLÄTZCHEN

  Zutaten  500 g Mehl 200 g Zucker 1 Pck. Vanillinzucker 350 g Butter 2 Eigelb 1 Ei(er) etwas Zitronenschale, abgeriebene 1 Prise(n) Salz Eigelb zum Bestreichen Zubereitung Gesamtzeit ca. 1 Stunde 57 Minuten Das Mehl in die Schüssel geben und den Zucker und Vanillinzucker darüber streuen. Eine Mulde in die Mitte drücken und die Butter in Flöckchen auf den Rand setzen. Die Eigelbe und das Ei in die Mulde geben, Zitronenschale und Salz dazugeben und alles rasch mit dem Knethaken oder den Händen zu einem geschmeidigen Teig kneten. Den Teig in einer geschlossenen Schüssel für mindestens eine Stunde kühl stellen. Den Teig auf einer bemehlten Fläche ausrollen und Formen ausstechen (z.B. Sterne oder Herzen). Auf ein Blech mit Backpapier legen. Mit Eigelb bestreichen und nach Geschmack verzieren. Bei 175 °C 10 – 12 Minuten backen.

  Zutaten  4 Schweineschnitzel oder Hähnchen, Pute etc. 1 Paket Champignons, 250 – 500 g, in dünne Scheiben schneiden 2 Paprikaschote(n), in Streifen schneiden 1 Pck. Speck, 75 – 100 g, magerer gewürfelter 2 Gewürzgurke(n), evtl. mehr, in Streifen schneiden 1 Becher Schmand 2 EL Tomatenmark 1 Zwiebel(n) 2 Zehe/n Knoblauch 250 ml Brühe Tabasco oder Hot Pepper Sauce o.ä. Salz und Pfeffer Öl Paprikapulver, rosenscharf evtl. Käse Zubereitung Schnitzel mit Salz und Pfeffer würzen und in eine Auflaufform legen. Zwiebel in einer leicht gefetteten Pfanne anbraten. Speck, Champignons, Gewürzgurke und Paprika dazugeben und ebenfalls kurz anbraten. Dann den gepressten Knoblauch hineingeben, alles mit 250 ml Brühe aufgießen, den Becher Schmand und das Tomatenmark unterrühren. Mit der Hot Pepper Sauce, Salz, Pfeffer und Paprika abschmecken und die Sauce über die Schnitzel in der Auflaufform gießen.   I don’t know about you, but I’m so in love with sweet and salty chicken with some red pepper flakes, the combination is insanely good! Check out this sweet garlic chicken! What You’ll Need 4-6 chicken breasts. 1 cup of packed brown sugar. 2/4 cup of vinegar. ¼ cup of lemon-lime soda. 2-3 tbsps of minced garlic. 2 tbsps of soy sauce. 1 tsp of fresh ground pepper. 2 tbsps of cornstarch. 2 tbsps of water. Red pepper flakes (optional). How to make it In a sprayed slow cooker, put the chicken. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, vinegar, soda, garlic, soy sauce and pepper and pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and pour the remaining sauce in a saucepan. Over high heat, add the cornstarch and water to the saucepan and cook. Once the sauce is thickened, pour over the chicken and serve. Easy, peasy and yummy!
